Chocolate Brownie Pumpkin Squares

INGREDIENTS:

Chocolate Brownie Crust

WOW Baking Company Chocolate Brownies 12 ounces, crumbled

 

Pumpkin Pie Filling

1 can (15 oz) pure pumpkin

2 large eggs

1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

½ teaspoon ground ginger

¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg

¼ teaspoon sea salt


DIRECTIONS:

1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a 9-inch square baking dish with nonstick spray.

2) Press crumbled Chocolate Brownies into the bottom of the pan to form the crust.

3) Bake the crust for 4 - 5 minutes. Remove from oven and, using your fingers, carefully press down the crust a little more. Set aside.

4) In a large mixing bowl, mix all the pumpkin filling ingredients until well blended.

5) Let rest for 5 minutes (bubbles to reduce on top) and pour the mixture on top of the Chocolate Brownie crust.

6) Place in the oven and bake for 40 - 50 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.

7) Remove from oven and cool on rack to room temperature, and place in refrigerator for at least 3 hours.

8) It's best to serve them the next day. For additional flair and flavor- serve them with whipped topping or chocolate ganache poured on top.
